We were asked to take in 18 month Tasha as her elderly owner was having trouble coping with her. She is not yet spayed and season history unknown. She is microchipped and vaccinated.
This is what we were told about her in her original home:
“Tash is excitable, frustrated but willing to please. Tash is happy to know what is expected from herself. Tash is a fussy eater, picking at food (James Welbeloved). She has a tendency to eat her poo now and then. Tash gets frustrated when walking pass other dogs. Tash was in kennel environment for the first 7 months of her life, the owner 70+years old has tried to give Tash what she needs, physically and mentally but has found it hard due to illness and personal problems. Tash has a great temperament and I’m sure Tash will be a great companion for someone.”
And this is what the kennels have to say:
“Tasha is just a real delight in every way. Massive baby girl at heart and ever so green, but in the right hands and good honest training will turn into a really lovely lassy. Very loving, ever so playful, adores other dogs, does rush up to greet them though, dealing with that gently already as she could get herself into trouble with wrong dogs. She takes a couple of moments to study you then is really your best friend. Very green out and about, but in a youthful immature way. Will be up to new mummy or daddy to take to task which in turn will build a wonderful bond.”
Tasha needs a calm and confident home to flourish in and would probably benefit from living with another dog to give her some guidance.
Tasha has been adopted.
