Meet Indy, she is 20 month old, spayed, fully vaccinated and chipped.
We are told she is fine around children of 10yrs +, needs further doggy socialisation but does seem better around males, a no to cats and has lived on a farm so may have seen some livestock.
She was relaxed when she met our volunteer at the home, walks ok on lead when out, recall only in the garden as not let off on a walk, knows all her basic commands.
She has no possession issues with food but does like to hang on to her toys, she lives with another dog at present who she does not get a long with so they are kept separate.
Indy did not have the best start in life on the farm she was bred on, she spent considerable amount of time in a crate with little interaction or training.
Our assessor feels that with a confident owner and maybe a confident older male dog she will come on in leaps and bounds as she needs some positive direction in her life.
She has only been with her current owner for 6 month after her previous owner took her to the vets with some trauma to her tail and decided to leave her there, that’s how she is now with her present owner.
If you feel you fit the description of the kind of person Indy needs to move forward with her life then please complete the adoption form on our website and someone will be in touch.
