Let me introduce Roxy who we are told is a GSD cross Akita but regardless, who could say no to those ears! According to her microchip she was born in September 2016. Vaccinations have been restarted but doubtful she is spayed.
Roxy was found tied up to a tree in a woody area! This girl is super friendly with people. No young children as we do not know her history. Not been fully assessed with dogs yet but has only reacted is barked at. Unknown with cats.
Roxy was quite nervous and submissive when she arrived so would love a calm and confident home please where she can get over her insecurities of being abandoned.
Lucky Roxy has been adopted.
Roxy has sadly come back into rescue as her adopter has some health issues meaning he is unable to walk her, but we do know a lot more about her now.
Roxy has been fine with children 6 upwards. She can be nervous of smaller. We are told that she started to lunge on the lead at other dogs, but we wonder if this was more of a protective issue knowing her dad was not in the best health? It also did not help that a family dog, a small dog, decided to hang off her face! She will therefore need a home that can resocialise her with other dogs. Roxy will chase cats when out BUT lived with a cat in the home. She quickly realised it was safer to give the cat space as those claws can hurt!
Roxy is now spayed and fully vaccinated as well.
Can you give Roxy a new home please as she is quite miserable having to go into kennels again.
Roxy has found herself a wonderful family she has adopted.
