A very special home needed for Major please. He is 2 years old, vaccinated and microchipped and now neutered, however not something that will be done due to ongoing health issues. Major has been handed into another rescue we work closely with as his owners did not feel they had the time to give him the exercise and training a lad of this age needs, plus I suspect his medical diagnosis has put them off.
Major has been diagnosed with kidney disease meaning he needs to stay on a special renal diet, and the vet has also advised he requires a potassium supplement as well. Sadly the prognosis is guarded and it is expected his disease will be life limiting. In every other way, Major is a typical young and fit overgrown pup. No young children but Major is good with dogs Spaniel size up (not been tested with anything smaller). Unknown with cats.
We are looking for a long term foster home for Major, who appreciates he may not have a ‘normal’ length of life, so we can continue to support his ongoing needs and he gets as normal a life as possible. Still needs a GSD experienced home, but also that needs those people who can give them the best life he can have. In return Major is a super friendly lad who will give bundles of love in return.
Major has found his long term foster home.
