May I introduce Lucy who came on from the same council as Lily. We were contacted by a rescue contact who had been asked by a council if they could help her as if not, both dogs were being put down in 2 days because they needed the space; 2 young Mali’s. We were told Lucy is about 6 months old and Lily was about 10 months. Lucy is not microchipped but Lily was and according to that she is actually 16 months old! The other concerning thing is how thin both girls were, especially Lily who went from lean to looking emaciated having been with them for 3 weeks! We had an entry photo to see this. Not what we expect from Council’s!

Both girls were in foster together where they learnt to live life and had weight put on them. Lucy is now vaccinated and spayed.

We would not rehome either with young children as we do not know their history. So far been fine with other large breed dogs and have been together since arriving in foster. Both girls are very friendly and typical of their breed, energetic and wanting lots of stimulation.

Lucy and Lily will need homes experienced with the breed who can give them the time and attention they need whilst giving them the love and care they deserve!
