Please give a warm welcome to this little girl who we have called Faith.
Faith is around a year old and she is chipped.
Sadly this little girl has suffered some abuse, she was removed from the home via the police and taken to the pound.
Faith is hand shy and will shake from nose to tail when you first meet her until she knows that nothing horrible is going to happen, once she has the reassurance then she is ok.
Faith is now meeting lots of people to raise her confidence.
This little dinky girl has shown no issues around food or treats, she is frightened of toys but we will soon have her playing.
Faith seems to be ok around other dogs, we can’t cat test.
We do believe that Faith would be ok around children as long as they were old enough to understand that she’s had a pretty hard time and that she may take a while to be the puppy that she should be.
So far Faith has been out on a few walks, she’s been ok with the traffic, she’s seen other dogs, cyclists etc with no reactions.
As with all young dogs we are looking for a home for Faith where she won’t be left for long periods, a home that understands that she’s experienced pain previously and therefore may take longer to trust and basically a home where she will receive the love and care that she deserves.
Faith has been adopted.
