Bailey will be 4 in December. He is neutered and microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He has been with his current owner 6 months after she took him in from someone who was not exercising him enough and he spent much of his time on the balcony of the flat. Sadly being rehomed as his mum works nights which means babysitters for her children, and concerned about Bailey having different people in and out of the house.
Bailey is good with her children, 7 and 10, but can be selective with other dogs and a no to cats. May be he just needs some more socialisation work with other dogs. He does pull on lead and a headcollar was suggested by our volunteer, but he has recall and basic commands. No issues over food or toys, and he does love toys.
Greeted our volunteer with a typical bark but was then waggy tail, giving kisses and cuddles.
“Bailey is in very good condition and you can see that he is a loved dog. A lively, boisterous lad who seems to be very eager to please – ongoing training would make a perfect dog.”
Can you give Bailey a home?
