Kai was born June 2020. He is microchipped and neutered and vaccinations are due now. The lady that currently has him has only had Kai a short period of time, thinking she could train him to be an assistant dog and she uses a mobility scooter. Kai is too strong for her though.
Kaiis good with children and other dog, although can get quite excitable, and cats in the home. Greeted our volunteer with big barks and a lot of tail wagging. Does need lead training and some further recall work but has basic commands. No issues over food or toys. He does chew dog beds!
“Been to see Kai, no barking when I arrived at the door, super friendly no jumping up, he is a big boy owner said he had been very itchy on the food she was feeding him so has changed his food, he has some red sore bits on him from constant licking certain areas. I walked him with out any pulling or problems with people passing, men with machinery digging up roads and a lady in a mobility scooter. Owner says his recall is selective. He lives with cats. The owner is completely wheelchair bound and can’t walk him and he has not been walked for sometime. He has been around older kids but she doesn’t know about toddlers. Overall he is just a big friendly guy loves a fuss and didn’t get silly when he knew he was going for a walk. Not food aggressive. Jabs ran out in May this year and he has not been to a vet since she has had him.”
Can you give this lovely lad a home?
