Shadow is just 1 year old and still entire. He has some malamute in him. He is vaccinated and microchipped.

Shadow has been in his current home since a pup where he is living with 4 other dogs. We are told he is lovely with puppies and fine with well mannered dogs but probably just needs more socialisation out of the home.

Shadow seems nervous of children so we would not rehome him where there are young children. This is the reason he is being rehomed as whilst he has not bitten, he has snapped at her daughter a couple of times. His owner also suffers from panic attacks which may be exasperating the situation. Unknown with cats.

He is fairly good on the lead and has good recall and basic commands but obviously as with any young dog, will need continued training. Not happy being left alone too long and will still chew.

Our assessor describes Shadow as being a stunning young lad. He was wary of her going into his home .  He comes across as anxious but in the right hands and with an experienced owner this lad will make somebody a cracking dog.
