Say hello to Amber, she is only a year old, due to be spayed at the end of April, and chipped.

Amber has had a busy time in her short life, she was up until recently living with 2 female springer spaniels and 1 male but Amber and another female had their season and there was an altercation with the male and Amber bit him so she has gone back to live with the lady who she originally came from.

Amber has a very loving temperament and was very happy to meet our volunteer, took treats very gently, the lady who has her now has 5 children and Amber is fine around all of them. Her litter sister is also at the home and they do not see eye to eye so Amber is being kept separate from the other dogs. Amber’s mum was pregnant when Deborah rescued her from a Gypsy site but was so thin no one knew until they popped out, Deborah has done a good thing by taking Amber back to help her find the right forever home for her.

Can you help Amber?

Amber was re homed by her owner.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
