Amber came into us in a sorry state bless her, but progressed day by day:

“Please meet Amber who has just joined the Lincolnshire gang, she is just 7 months old!!! I hope you have a tissue ready …she is PETRIFIED !!!!!!!! She had to be carried to her kennel when she arrived, she stays in her bed lowering herself as low as she can if you go near her or talk to her. She is in our fab kennels so will be cared for and loved.

Guess who came out of her kennel , with lots of encouragement, said hello to another couple of dogs and took steps out of the kennel block into the sunshine!!!!! She is still very nervous and was glad to get back to her kennel, but huge progress. So proud of our girl.

Well just look at this little beauty. Today she came out of her kennel and walked outside with us. We went for a little walk just so she could feel the grass and sniff any new sniffs, then we just sat in the shade relaxing. This girl has done so so well.”

The lucky girl was then taken into foster by one of our volunteers and has blossomed. Amber, now called Angel has been so good her foster dad has adopted her.
