1. Nero

May I introduce the rather handsome Nero who  is 7 years young, neutered and microchipped but vaccinations are out of date. Nero is good with children of all ages but can be selective with other dogs, however, he does live with a male Staffie so just needs careful introduction. Believe...
  2. Roxy

May I introduce Roxy who is 6 years young. Now spayed and vaccinated and microchipped. Roxy came into us through another rescue having gone into them through the police, so we have little history on her. Due to lack of history, older children only. Roxy became highly reactive to dogs...
  3. Rusty

Rusty is 9 years old. He is neutered and vaccinated and of course microchipped. He was being rehomed as the man of the house who purchased him as a pup, had left, and mum was physically unable to walk him meaning he was stuck in the house day in and...
  4. Toby

May I introduce Toby who is coming up to 1 year of age. He is currently entire and vaccinations will need to be restarted but he is microchipped. Toby is being rehomed as his owner just does not have the time to invest in him. He is good with children...

  7. Rudi

This handsome young man is 18 month Rudi. Neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Rudi was with a family who have tried very hard with him to socialise him with the world, but with working lines in his background, he is a handful. We would not rehome him with children, and...
  8. Max

Max will be 4 in April. He is now neutered and he has now been microchipped and his vaccinations restarted. Max has come into the kennels as his owners are struggling with him. He is unknown with children and other dogs, however he happily lives with, and submits to the...
  9. Dora

Dora came into us at the end of January having been picked up as stray with no microchip. As you can see the poor lass came in a dreadful state. She had a full check over at the vets and fortunately nothing more than underweight and terrible skin condition. Basic...
  10. Maddie

Maddie came into from another rescue: “This little girl was driven down today by her desperate owners who were facing eviction. They had no idea what to do with her and we’re driving around trying to find her a safe space. Once I saw her I couldn’t say no.” Maddie...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
