May I introduce Ben who is 7 years young. He is neutered and microchipped but his vaccinations may need restarting. Ben has had a few homes in his life time, but has been with his current owner for 4 years. Sadly, due to a relationship split she has now had to move into accommodation which is not suitable for Ben.
We are told that Ben is good with children of all ages, but can be selective with other dogs. With correct introductions and once he knows them, he is not so bad. A no to cats. Ben does not like the postman, however barks at the same time as wagging his tail, or the vet (is muzzled when he goes) and can display some anxiety with visitors but has never bitten. The rest of the time we are told he can be quite the couch potato.
Good on lead and we are told has recall and basic commands. No issues over food or toys and have been told he has no medical issues. Travels well in the car.
When out volunteer visited she said that Ben was very well behaved and was very friendly towards her. Looked in good condition and apart from chasing a cat in the garden, showed no barking or aggression.
Ben just needs a GSD experienced home please to keep this lad as relaxed and happy as he appears although living in difficult housing conditions.
Ben has been adopted.
