May I introduce Bruce who is 2 years old. He is microchipped and vaccinated but still entire. Only being rehomed due to his owner having knee issues meaning he is not getting the exercise he needs. This is what our volunteer had to say about him:
“Bruce is a GSD cross Rottie. The dog is a much loved family pet and in perfect condition. He welcomed me into the home with no aggressions or negative reaction but met me with confidence. Wanted to play, Kong and tug toy. No evidence of food or toy protection/obsession. While we talked Bruce was playing with the 8 year daughter.
Owner has knee issues that prevent him giving Bruce the exercise he needs and is devastated to be giving him up. Bruce is happy, confident and playful. He may suffer from initial separation anxiety in a new home if left for extended periods but would recommend him for a family home where he can get far more exercise.”
Bruce is a super all round lad who could live with children 7 upwards. He is fine with other dogs but a no to cats. Can you give Bruce a home?
Bruce’s owner cannot bear to part with him and is working around issues to make sure he gets his exercise.
