Rocky and Casey were born in November 2023. Rocky is neutered but Casey is not yet spayed. Both dogs are microchipped and we are told vaccinated. Both dogs are good with children 5 upwards and ok with other dogs. Fine on lead with dad but do pull for their mum. Recall is variable but they have basic commands. No issues over food or toys and very friendly with people. Very sadly being rehomed due to a change in family circumstances.
“Rocky and Casey are a lovely pair of just over 2 years old.
On knocking the door I could hear two dogs moving about on the other side, no barking. When the door was opened both of them greeted me like I was an old friend, I think it was Casey that jumped up at me but not in an aggressive way.
It took about 10 minutes before they calmed down, but at no time were they a problem just giving me a good sniffing. They are both in good condition, didn’t mind me stroking or running my hands over them. I couldn’t see any ear problems, clean and pink. Nails looked a reasonable length. Both of their coats looked clean. For the majority of the time I was there each had a bone which they were happily chewing, occasionally getting up to check me out. Tracey picked up a bone that Casey was crewing, with no reaction from Casey. Rocky came up onto the settee, as soon as Tracey told him to get down he did.
Out in the garden they both chased after a ball but there was no argument as Casey is ‘in charge’. They had a play fight but stopped as Tracey said “Enough”. We took them out for a short walk, a little pulling but with regular exercise I think they would be fine.
I think it would be better for them if they could be rehomed as a pair as Tracey said when they have been separated both of them whine.
Whoever has these two will have a couple of lovely GSDs.”
