1. River

We were asked by another rescue if we could take in this handsome lad, River. He had been picked up as a stray and was not chipped. Below is a summary of their assessment:   A good session with River. I would say he is younger than 4 and have...

  4. Zena

May I introduce Zena who will be 2 in October. She is microchipped and vaccinated, but not currently spayed. Zena has been in her home since a pup and is sadly being rehomed due to a domestic violence situation for her safety. Zena is good with other dogs, still an...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
