Charley is 16 mths old. She is microchipped but only had her puppy vaccs and currently not spayed. Being rehomed as her owner has not got the time to give her what she needs due to a change in circumstances.

Charley is in our volunteer’s opinion, a typical hyper Mali pup who is not getting the exercise of stimulation for her age and breed. Has basic commands  and no issues over food or toys. Really just needs a home experienced with the breed to give her the training and socialisation she desperately needs.  This is what she said about her:

“Charley is an active Mali and requires a lot of activity and stimulation. She greeted me well, no barking and wanted a fuss. When I moved away there may have been an attempt at a nip but can’t be sure and certainly didn’t concern me.

Charley needs a more active environment with plenty of stimulation. Ball orientated and when thrown, has good retrieval. No children. She is an alpha female which will need to bore in mind if put with another dog. She is adorable, just the wrong home for her.”

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
