Cody is a GSD cross who was rescued at 5 months old on a beach in Kuwait. The couple cared for her for the 3 years they were there and brought her back with them 18 months ago. Cody is now 5 and is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. They are now looking to find her a forever home.
Cody does live with another dog and is used to going out with a dog walker, however she can be nervous of larger dogs she doesn’t know and will bark at them if they come close. She has been fine with children of all ages. Unknown with cats but has walked past horses with no reaction.
Cody has basic commands and walks nicely on a halti or with a slip lead but is not let off lead so recall would need to be established. She is indifferent to toys and has no issues over toys or food. Typically barks when someone arrives but then just wants cuddles.
Cody is a bit of an explorer and will test the fencing for any gaps, but all in all is an affectionate girl who loves attention and cuddles. An energetic girl who does need her boundaries still but will fit into most family homes.
Cody now called Jody has been adopted.
