This lovely lad is Curly whose mum is a Mali and Dad was a Herder. He was 2 in January. Microchipped but not neutered and vaccinations are out of date. Being rehomed as his family is moving into rented accommodation where he cannot go.

Curly is good with children and currently lives with 3 other dogs, small and large, including his mum who has just been rehomed to a friend. Generally good with other dogs but very playful once he knows them. A no to cats as he will chase and never seen livestock.

Generally good on lead and recall ok if no distractions. Basic commands. No issues over food or toys and fine with people visiting. Comes and has a sniff and a pet but then happy to lay down and chill. Loves playing with his ball!

Curly will be an easy addition to most homes that have experience with the breed and is a friendly, happy chappie.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
