Diesel originally came into us at 7 months of age from owners who thought they had a GSD puppy and then realised they had a Herder! Born June 2021.

Diesel actually went to the police when he first came in where he has learnt obedience and tracking,and loves the agility course, however he switches off after a period of time and refuses to work. Our trainer believes he needs to mature further and would be a super dog for an active owner who just wants an energetic companion. He will need an experienced and confident handler who is not afraid to give him boundaries as he will push his luck looking for his ball or treats! Still a cuddle monster though! However, having left us being good with all dogs, Diesel came back and has hated all dogs since!

Diesel loves carrying his dish or his ball—we’re encouraging him to choose the ball more often!
He can be a little unsure about having a lead put on or being touched around his neck. We’re helping him build positive associations. Once he has formed a bond and learned to trust you, he’ll let you get a little closer.

Diesel needs a very experienced home that will give him time to settle and focus on building a bond. It may take time, but once he accepts you, he’ll repay your patience a hundredfold.

Because of his needs, Diesel is looking for an experienced, adult-only home that is fairly quiet and can maintain a consistent routine. He’ll need to be the only pet in the household.

Diesel needs an active home where he has space to run and play, and would ideally need an outdoor kennel as he can be destructive in a home. This lad just needs an understanding home please.
