This stunning young lad arrived into our care recently and he has stolen the hearts of many people already.
Please meet Dylan who is a gorgeous semi coat Shepherd, he’s 11 months, vaccinated, Chipped but still entire due to his young age.
Dylan arrived via the council pound so we have no history on his past.
This gorgeous boy is a little nervous when meeting people but he warms to them very quickly and then wants cuddles. He’s a very affectionate boy, he doesn’t know how to play in fact sadly he’s scared of most of the toys he’s seen.
He’s fine out on walks and isn’t bothered by heavy passing traffic, people or other dogs.
He’s met a few dogs and he does seem very friendly towards them so maybe he could with the right introduction live with a spayed bitch or a neutered male?
Dylan is quite lean so we are working on building up his weight, he’s fine around food and doesn’t seem to have any issues what so ever plus he takes treats very gently.
We do not know if he’s house trained but this is something that we are sure he’d pick up very quickly as he’s a very bright boy.
Dylan loves to be close to people and he will lean on your legs for comfort. He’s found out that it’s good to be groomed and he’s fine to be touched all over.
We are looking for a home where the time he’s left can be built up slowly and also a home that can put in the required training that he needs.
All in all this young lad has lots of potential to be a super dog in the right hands, he needs a chance to develop and flourish into the dog that he’s meant to be.
We cannot cat test, we would think he’s probably a no as he has shown that he has a prey drive and due to him being from the pound we have to say older children only.
Dylan aka Gunner has been adopted.
Poor Gunner lost his mum and dad within a few months of each other this year but luckily good friends took him in and he has now found himself another home.
