This lovely young lad is Jacks who is still just a baby and is a GSD cross Husky. He has been in his home since a pup and is being rehomed because mum cannot exercise him due to health issues and the adult children can’t be bothered to be blunt. Consequently Jacks is getting bored and started chewing in the home and garden. He is microchipped and vaccinated but not yet neutered.
Jacks is good with children but older only as he can get over excited and boisterous. Needs further work with socialisation with other dogs and tends to try and dominate. A no to cats. Needs further lead training and recall training and does jump up but gets down when told. Can nip when over excited but not aggressively.
Our volunteer did not see any major vices for a dog if his age who has not had the proper boundaries, exercise and training instilled. “Lovely boy and very eager to please and works for treats, nice temperament. I think with some attention on him he would be a fab companion”.
Jacks has been taken in by another rescue.
