We were asked to take this lad in having been picked up as a stray:

“Yet another young male Mali now in our care, thankfully this boy has a super personality. I know other local rescues are experiencing a massive pattern of this breed coming in too. Malis need experience and careful rehoming and the number of them coming in is quite frankly getting impossible to deal with, every time I manage to place or rehome one, which is no easy task, another one arrives.

At least this lovely chap is now safe”

Lucas, as we have named him, is a big lad. He is microchipped but surprise, surprise, it wasn’t registered. He was only about 2 years of age when he came to us, born in April 2021. Now neutered and vaccinations have been restarted. Lucas has been a friendly and playful lad.

“Lucas needs an experienced home who is use to a guarding dog as Lucas is very protective of his people and needs an adult only home. He has been good with larger dogs and his best mate at the kennels is Axel.”
