Here we have the lovely Misty, daughter to Ruby and Kai. She is 6yrs, not yet spayed but will be very soon, will start her vacs and be chipped.

Sadly this poor lass like her sisters has seen little to nothing of the outside world but has the most lovely temperament and does want to please.

Misty did go briefly into foster and was a good girl while all the family were sat together, she did have a few issues with being separated and freed herself from the crate on 2 occasions  so she will need someone to have the time to spend with her to fully introduce her to in house living before they may have to leave her for short periods.

Has not lived with other dogs except her family but I am sure with careful introduction she will be ok, the foster home had 2 and she didn’t seem to mind those. She also saw the cats at the kennels and wasn’t overly interested so maybe with a dog savvy cat and owner this may work?

This lovely girl so deserves a chance to know how good life can be, can you help?

Misty has now been spayed and a sizeable lump was found on her hock, we have had a biopsy taken and sent away and will update when the results come back. Results are back and she has the all clear – no further treatment!

Now enjoying life in her new forever home.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
