May I introduce Murphy who is a 5 year neutered male. Vaccinated and microchipped. Murphy came into another rescue extremely overweight, he is now fit and has slimmed down as you can see.

He had been handed in as he was a very strong dog on the lead and had pulled his owner. He is now very good on the lead once his initial excitement from being out of kennels has called. He is responsive and comes back to heel easily.

Around people he is affectionate and friendly and relaxed at being handled. He loves playing with his toys and is so toy orientated it makes him easy to train.

We would only rehome with older children as he has only had occasional interaction with the owner’s grandchild.

Murphy was never allowed off lead so recall will need to be worked on. He is fine to walk with other dogs although when in close proximity to them he will sometimes sneakily try to pull their tails.

It is not aggression but he would like to be the only dog. He is such a great character and will jump around catching his toys. He also enjoys having cuddles and giving you lots of kisses!
