Rafa came across to us from Devon GSD Rescue. He originally came from Portugal. He is 4 years old, neutered, his vaccinations are up to date and he’s microchipped.

Rafa is a friendly boy. He’s lived with cats and Wulf who is a Northern Inuit x Czech Wolf Dog.

Rafa will need a very committed owner because he has Leishmaniasis which is a blood parasitic condition contracted from sand flies. The tablets are long term, but he is very good about taking them. He would require regular vet checks including blood tests.

Sadly Rafa was diagnosed with Lymphoma before Christmas and with his current condition there were no viable treatments. He became very lethargic and sad, so the decision was made to let him go to Rainbow Bridge.
