We were asked to take this lad from council kennels:

“Introducing our handsome boy Rio. He’s a lovely friendly boy & another youngster. He’s quite big & is chipped so we hoped he’d be claimed, but sadly nothing as yet. It appears he’s a bit of a tail chaser judging by his tail, bless him. He‘s another one that desperately needs his chance & a rescue space to go to please.”

Well bless his heart, the name on his microchip is also down as the registered breeder! Rio will be 1 at the end of October. Currently entire. Vaccinations being restarted. Rio is a very insecure lad at present and obviously has been a tail chaser, maybe out of boredom.

No young children as we do not know his full history. He is currently in foster with other large dogs and has fallen for an older GSD girl who hopefully will give him the confidence he needs.

Rio will need a GSD experienced home that can give him the training, socialisation and love he so desperately needs please.

Rio, now called Nero, has been adopted.
