May I introduce Rosie who is 3 years old. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. We were asked to take Rosie in by another rescue as she had been returned for nipping a visitor. She is very wary of new people bless her, but once she knows you she turns into a cuddle monster! This is her history:
“Rosie is a small GSD x and has come into rescue as the elderly dog she was living with found her too much to live with. She was picked up from the streets in Bosnia and bought over here at 6 months. She is very uncertain of new people and will bark at people and dogs she doesn’t know. Once she’s been introduced to another friendly dog she just loves to play. With people she must have time to get used to them but once she’s decided you are not a threat she is very affectionate. Because of her uncertainty around people she needs a quiet home without too many visitors and where her new owner can build up her confidence around strangers and new dogs. She has been around children and has been well behaved with them. She has met geese at kennels and wasn’t too interested.
On walks she can be very prey driven and if she finds a scent, she will be off and not respond to calls. She loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back and let you take it without any problems. She will also take treat gently. “
Can you give Rosie a home please.
Rosie has been adopted.
