Rosie is 3 years and spayed. This lovely girl has been with her owners since a pup along with her sister. Rosie greeted our assessor very vocally but was soon wanting a fuss and bringing her ball to play.

Rosie is a very intelligent young lady and eager to learn. She has good basic commands and recall and walks nicely on the lead. She has also done some agility training at which she is proving to be quite good at.

Rosie unfortunately is extremely dominant with other dogs and despite many efforts, attacked their JRT recently. She has been OK with dogs at training but her owners are now nervous to take her because of this incident.

Unknown with children, she does live with 4 cats and adores them. A beautiful dog that would benefit from an experienced home where she is the only dog and where she will get a lot of mental stimulation as well as exercise.

Rosie’s owners have found their JRT a fabulous home so Rosie is staying put.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
