Ruby came to us from another rescue where she was extremely stressed. She is not quite 2 and is recently spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Ruby is good with children and whilst she does not react to the other dogs in the kennels we are told she was not good with another dog in her home which is why she came into rescue. From what we understand she was living with an older GSD bitch who did use to pick on Ruby but on the arrival of a small male dog who Ruby adored, she started picking on the older bitch. Sounds a typical situation of 2 bitches not getting along but feel she would be fine living with a male.
Ruby is very loving towards people once she trusts you but is very nervous and will need a home who have the time to help her build up her confidence and give her the socialisation and continued training she needs.
Are you that special home?
Ruby is now in a foster home with a large male shep who she is getting on with a treat after trying to muscle in he has told her no and peace is resumed.. She did however have an over night stay with 5 GSDs, 1 JRT, 2 Staffies, 3 cats, 1 Horse and 2 ponies, none of which bothered her at all!
Ruby has been adopted.
Ruby has passed over Rainbow Bridge after a short illness.
