Rudi is a good old fashioned cross breed. They were told GSD cross Collie. The coupe who own him, adopted him through a rescue called The Pack Project who pushed her into taking 2 dogs who were supposed to get on together, despite the fact they work full time and live in a flat. The dogs came from Romania and on arrival were fighting! The rescue has offered no back up only the offer of a kennel space at £40 a night!

Rudi is not yet 2. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. His owner has worked incredibly hard with both dogs to do the best she can by them and whilst living together has improved slightly, they both have so many other issues, it is difficult.

Rudi cannot live with children and needs to be the only dog as currently he will bark at them when on lead. He is very nervous of new people and is muzzled when meeting, but all of this is slowly improving with time and work. He can be a very loving lad on his terms, but basically is just a scared young man who has obviously been through a lot in his short life.

If there is a special home out there that would consider taking Rudi into their home, his current owner has organised that he could go to a behaviourist for a few weeks residential training to help with his socialisation and confidence before settling into his new home. The behaviourist feels that taking him in and returning him to his current environment with the other dog would not be beneficial.

Can you help this poor lad who has been so badly let down by another rescue?
