This lovely young man is Sam who is 4 years old. Sam is neutered and has had his vaccinations started and is microchipped.

History unknown as he was found on Bodmin Moors by the dog warden. We would not rehome with young children.

Sam is a lovely chap who has been no problem in kennels and not shown any problems with other dogs around him.

Sam has been in a foster for a while where he has settled with small dogs after careful introduction, but still gets overexcited and slightly manic when he meets dogs when out. He does have a high prey drive and will chase cats, chickens and horses if allowed.

A typical young man that has missed out on typical boundaries as a youngster and needs to have an experienced owner who can instil calm and confident behaviour and work on his socialisation with other dogs.

Can you give this handsome lad a home?

Sam has found himself his own home.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
