This lovely lady is 7 year Sasha. Sasha came into emergency foster a couple of weeks ago at the request of Social Services.
She has just finished her season and we are in the process of getting her vaccinated and microchipped. Sasha has settled in with her foster family including dogs large and small. This is what her foster dad has to say about her:
“Sasha is a beautiful gentle 7 year old, she can be slightly dominant of other females but that might be because she was in season when we picked her up. She can tend to be a bit careless with her feet when round other dogs as I do not think she has had to share any space with others before.
She can sometimes cower in fear when hearing a man shout, doesn’t seem to bother if a female shouts. She enjoys the raw diet and eats quite daintily and likes raw bones. We were told she never walked on a lead and didn’t like collars, but didn’t seem to mind either and was very good on her first group walk on Sunday although we did not let her off.
Sasha would make a brilliant pet for any family, my 8yr old grandson thinks she is wonderful and in passing often gives her a quick kiss on the nose. She can be reactive to a high energy dog, but again I think that is lack of socialisation and will change quite quickly living with our five dogs.”
Lovely Sasha has now gone off to her forever home.
Sasha had a wonderful life with her family but has now passed over Rainbow Bridge.
