This handsome lad is Shadow who is coming up to 16 months of age. He is currently entire but is microchipped and fully vaccinated. His current owner took him on at 5 months where he was being kept in a cage and never walked. Sadly due to his age and health, he does not feel he can offer Shadow enough in terms of exercise as he is an energetic lad.

Shadow is good with children and other dogs off lead. Unknown with cats.

“Went to see this lovely dog. In short, Shadow is a very handsome young man who would benefit from an active home with GSD experience to give him some boundaries.

He loves his ball and toys and showed no aggression with either, he was very friendly considering he’d only just met me. There was a slight issue with jumping up, and as he’s a big lad that would need some work, hence someone who is experienced.

The owner said he is good on the lead but can pull when he sees another dog, he said his recall is good and interacts well with other dogs when off lead.

He has been very well looked after, and the owner, due to health problems, is upset that he can’t give Shadow the life he needs. He said that he does not want the dog to go into kennels and will gladly transport.”

Shadow has been rehomed by his owner.
