PLEASE NOTE SIMBA IS BEING ADVERTISED ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER RESCUE.

Simba is a 3 year old (approx) Belgian Malinois.

Male, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated.

Since being with us, we have found simba to be clever, energetic and desperate to please. He loves learning new things, treats, chews and food games (all of which make for great training aids) but the love of his life truly lies with tennis balls.

This handsome lad is very typical of his breed and is likely to get bored easily. He would be great with a family who are super active and will enjoy bringing ‘something extra’ to his world like agility or obedience training. He’s definitely an adventure sort of dog and loves investigating the countryside with us.

Simba can sometimes struggle in situations that make him worried or frustrated so we do feel he would be best suited to an adult only home, with no other pets. We have worked to improve his socialisation skills, so he could have doggy walking friends once he’s settled but he still struggles with busy roads.

Being a stray, we do not know if simba has ever lived in a home before so would suggest new owners are prepared for his settling in period including house training, being left and general house manners, it therefore might be best that his new family are around for most of the day to help him through this process.

Once simba gets to know you, he is an absolute joy to spend time with, he walks well on the lead, enjoys a good snuggle and has a silly side that is always making us smile.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
