May I introduce Sparky who is 9 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Good with children, dogs and cats! He will chase cats if they run, but close up just licks them, so introduced properly should be fine. Sparky has been with this owner since a pup and is only being rehomed as his owner is struggling to walk him meaning he has become overweight.

This is what the volunteer said about him:

“Sparky is a big softie, he has a very placid nature and has obviously been looked after. Has all basic commands and is very polite. He didn’t bark at all when I entered, just cam to greet me with a sniff and a lick. He does pull on the lead. Very treat orientated.

A lovely kind dog. I was able to take a toy from his mouth no problem. He will give them up when asked too.  He has been bought up with children and used to kids of all ages. Owner has 3 grandchildren from 1-6 years that always visit.”

Can you give Sparky a retirement plan to include a diet and exercise regime please?
