Say hello to Star. She is 5yrs old, sadly not neutered yet her last season was 8 month ago so will need to wait after her next season to spay, fully vaccinated but not chipped.
Star does live with 2 very young children but has been allowed to become very protective of them, if correctly introduced to dogs she will in time get better with more socialising, cats unknown.
Because she has been allowed to become very protective of the family she will bark, lunge and possibly nip at people entering the house, she lacks confidence and has not been given any guidance with this by her owners so will need serious work by her new owners.
When our assessor visited Star was muzzled and did launch herself at her several times but during the duration of the visit the muzzle was removed and Star actually took a treat and allowed our vollie to touch her all over and did get some tail wags, however this will be an on going job for the new owner who will need a good amount of GSD exp to be able to turn her round completely.
We will not rehome with children, maybe savvy teenagers but that will have to be discussed.
If you think you can help turn Star’s life around please get in touch.
Star’s owners found a new home for her.
