Introducing Storm who is a GSD x Rottie.

This gorgeous boy found himself in the stray pound and we were asked to take him into our care.

We believe that Storm is around a year old, he is microchipped, still entire and he’s just started his vaccinations. Storm has a lovely semi coat with very rich colourings and the Rottie mix can be clearly seen in his lovely face, he really is stunning.

Storm is a lovely natured lad who really does love people, he greets everyone with a big kiss and an extremely waggy bum.

Storm is a little bit bouncy but he’s a young boy who clearly hasn’t had any training, he soon settles down and responds well to commands.

He met our vet and was polite and well behaved, he enjoyed his examination and gave out lots of kisses.

We haven’t as yet assessed Storm enough around other dogs but so far he’s showing great potential. We have no way of cat testing but we would say that he would chase as he’s got the drive and he would only be considered into a home that had older children due to the lack of history.

Storm has a great appetite, anything that is put in front of him he eats and he also takes treats very gently, he is very much underweight at the moment so he’s receiving three meals a day to help build him back up.

This lovely happy boy is looking for a home that can commit to the training that he needs and also one that has the patience and knowledge to help him be the dog that he should be as he’s clearly been let down once already in his young life.

Storm loves toys and he’s happy to share, his favourite toy seems to be a football although he does like to take his teddy to bed with him.

A lovely young boy who’s waiting for another chance in life….sadly like many more.

Storm has now been adopted.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
