Sukis owner died very suddenly in April 2025. Suki has been living with this current family for
over 3 months when his owner became unwell and had to go into hospital.
Suki lives with 3 adults, a 1-6yr old & a 1-0yr old.
She also lives with a un-neutered male Jack Russel crossed with a chihuahua (Cinnamon) whom she adores.
Suki is extremely energetic and loves her walks, especially exploring new places and smells.
She is always walked on a short lead on pavements & roads & she does pull. …. she has never been taught “heel”. She is a very strong dog.
She is walked on a long training lead when walking over fields . . . .. she has absolutely NO RECALL.
Suki loves playing with her toys & adores attention from all members of the family.
She loves snuggling up on the sofa and sunbathing in the garden.
In the home, she always wants to be included with what you are doing. She has no space awareness so you can trip over her.
Every open cupboard is a teasure store, including the oven so care is needed.
Dinner time is her favorite as she gets cheeky treats.
She does chase the hoover.
She loves the family children. When they get home from school she gives them the biggest welcome party which includes a lot of jumping, kisses & doggy talk.
She follows the family chihuahua around & they play together & give each other kisses. Cinnamon is getting old & tires easily, sometimes Suki forgets how big she is compared to him.
Suki has the best personality….a very cheeky, sassy side.
She knows when a member of the family is feeling down & will snuggle up & comfort them.
She loves water, especially the hosepipe.
She plays in the paddling pool with the young son.
She is a definate NO to cats.
She is not keen on anything she can’t catch…… Squirrels, pigeons, rabbits. If she sees one whilst walking on her lead, she lunges & becomes very vocal.
If she sees another dog on her walk, she will bark until the dog is out of sight.
She will steal food from worktops.
Suki loves doing the School Run, Socialising in coffee shops & going to the pub.
She loves ice cream.
She enjoys picnics & being around new people …… she gives kisses to everyone.
Suki does need lead training & recall training.
She would suit an active family who is prepared to put time & effort into her training. She is the perfect family dog.
