Tyson is available for adoption through GSRE – this is what his current owner says about him.
Tyson is a 2-year-old, male, black and tan German Shepherd with a short coat. He is not currently neutered but he is vaccinated and microchipped. He has no known food allergies and no disclosed medical issues. He is described as being fine when visiting the vets. He has lived in his current home since being bought at 8 weeks old.
Tyson is being rehomed through GSRE due to his owner’s ill health.
Tyson’s reaction towards children, cats and livestock is unknown and although his owner initially stated that his reaction to dogs is also unknown, he will pull and lunge towards them if he sees a strange dog. He cannot be rehomed with children as it would appear he has no experience in being around them. He has never shown aggression towards anyone. He will get excited and jump up when a visitor comes to the home but will settle quickly.
Tyson’s owner states that he is never left alone so his reaction when left is unknown. His response to travelling in a car is also unknown. He lives outdoors but is housetrained. He pulls when walked on a lead and does not have a recall as he has never been let off-lead. He knows commands sit and place. He is treat and toy focused and enjoys playing in the garden. He is described by his owner as being a loving, loyal and energetic boy.
