Vinnie has been adopted.
Sadly Vinnie’s dad has found out he has a serious illness and will not be able to care for Vinnie in the future so feels a new home needs to be found.
Here is what his dad has to say about him:
Please say hello to this very handsome chap, Vinnie.
Approximately 2-3 years old
He is microchipped
He is neutered
His inoculations are up to date and boosters due in January 2026.
Vinnie dotes on both of my granddaughters aged 5 and 13 and has never shown any aggression, he is always gentle.
Vinnie wants to play when he meets other dogs, never barks, shows his teeth or growls.
Vinnie was adopted 17 months ago but due to an unexpected medical condition the current owner is not able to give Vinnie what he needs. Vinnie is an active dog with an active mind who excels when he is out in the fields, he loves to sniff, follow animal trails and play find the ball when it is hidden in a bush etc.
Vinnie has had 10 months of dog training classes with about 40 other dogs and is not reactive. He can sit, stay, come on demand, walk close and his recal is excellent.
Vinnie is soft natured, he is gentle when taking food items from you, does not show any food aggression of any sort and can live in a loving environment where he just wants human contact , then when he’s had enough he will flop down on his bed with a hummffff.
Vinnie gets excited when the doorbell rings because he knows that visitors are here, he makes a total fuss of them. Sometimes he can get vocal and chatty, it’s funny but then he likes a family wolf howl.
He is a handsome dog who is loved by his owners but lately Vinnie has not had as much exercise as he needs, which is the owners fault, not the dogs. The owner can see that Vinnie is starting to get frustrated, he needs exercise, but the owner cannot give it to him, and does not want to see this beautiful dog suffer for something that he has no control over.
