Meet Willow who is not yet 1 year old. Still entire but is microchipped. She has been in the same home since a pup and is now being rehomed because she has injured the resident Pug, however she had just been sick and has also just had a season. Lives with older children but does need more work with other dogs and is a no to cats. This is what our volunteer has to say about her:
“Well what can I say about Willow! She is absolutely gorgeous. When I first knocked on the door she was very vocal and on entering the house she jumped at me a couple of times. I ignored her for a minute and she quickly calmed down. Willow very quickly started giving me her toys and even some kisses and cuddles were thrown in. I was able to take the toys from Willow with no issues.
Willow does suffer with reactivity but this is not something she displayed while we were out walking. She did pass two dogs to which she was given a firm “no” command and then “good girl” as she was fine. Towards the end of the walk she started to pull and she became quite vocal, I think Willow does suffer a bit with separation anxiety from her human mum.
Willow is in fantastic condition and it is quite obvious that she is well looked after and very much loved. Willow met my boys, 12 and 18 and she was fine. All in all Willow is an utterly gorgeous girl coming from a loving home but she does have some issues that need work, but saying that she would make an amazing addition to most families.”
Willow has been rehomed by her owner with help from her breeder.
