This lovely girl is Zara who is coming up to 11 years old. Poor Zara and her dad were in a house fire week. Her dad was taken to hospital but did not survive.

Zara came to us in quite a state, still smelling of smoke. She has not been spayed, vaccinated or microchipped but has had the once over and a clean bill of health from our vet. She took quite a few days before she would even pick at her food.

A friend of the kennel owners got in touch saying their father had recently lost his dog and was desperate for company. They visited the same day when Zara was suggested to him, and it really was love at first sight. Sadly he was also taken unwell so after a few weeks poor Zara had to come back to the kennels.

She is now microchipped and had her first vaccination. She is quite a madam and is obviously used to being the only dog and being spoilt, and certainly does not act her age. If we had not been told she was 11 we would have said she was only about 6!

Can someone please give this lovely lady a home as she is not enjoying kennels.

Zara has bagged herself a new home the lucky girl.

This gorgeous girl had a couple of years with her wonderful family but has now passed over Rainbow Bridge.
