Bella is not a full GSD, but quite close! She originally came into us as a 2 year old from another rescue where she was struggling in their busy kennel environment. Our kennels did not have any issues with her. Her history was that her owners had her from a pup and she came in due to a change in family circumstances. She was living with children but would get quite hyper if the children did! We were also told she was good with other dogs and we saw no major issues at the kennels.
Bella is now 5 and is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Sadly, it appears her first owner’s were not at all honest about her history. Bella was adopted by a family who have had her 3 years and despite their very best efforts, including training help, do not feel they can keep her as she is super protective of her family. She took a long time to trust adults, and really is not keen on children at all. She decided she loved her family so much nobody and nothing else was allowed near.
Bella loves her toys and playing but does not like being left so will need someone who is around most of the time. Once she knows you she is a happy, tail wagging girl. Bella obviously did not get the start in life as we were told and will need an experienced, calm and confident home who understands her issues.
This is what the kennels say about her:
“I feel so sorry for this girl she was rehomed by us in 2016 and sadly came back to us nearly a month ago as things didn’t work out she’s so confused that she is back in kennels again it’s so sad to see them like this! 💔😫She needs to be the only dog in the home as she can be moody! She can be rehomed with older children she’s quite a clever girl and clean in her kennel! She loves going for a ride in the car but she isn’t keen on a trip to the vets though 😂 but I don’t blame her really I don’t like doctors either!😖 this girl is so pretty and affectionate she is spayed and vaccinated please share for this lovely girl it’s not fair for her to be back in kennels again 😞”
Are you Bella’s special home please?
