This young lady is 18 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. This gorgeous young lady was rescued in Dubai just before her current owners returned to the UK. She was living opposite them and was just left tied up outside the whole time. Now back in the UK, Riley is overprotective of them in the home, plus they are having to move into rented accommodation for a year which will not allow dogs.

Having met Riley away from her home, she is a lovely young girl who just wants to play and loves her balls. No issues over toys or food but not keen to give her ball back, and it can become a bit of a game. We would not rehome her with young children because of her protective nature, however she loves other dogs and it would probably be good for her to live with an older male who she can learn some social etiquette off with visiting humans in the home. In an experienced home, we would hope she would not feel she had to be the protector.

Good on the lead and has recall and basic commands. Riley just needs an experienced home who can work with her home protection issues should they arise, otherwise a super young girl.

Riley is now in foster with numerous other shepherds and has so far just spent the whole time playing! Hoping she learns to relax from the pack and stop worrying about protecting the home.
