“Destiny is a very sweet and cuddly girl she loves her walks and play in the paddock and has great recall.

She does bark at some men but just out of being anxious but there’s no aggression there. She loves her toys and playing with water and she is super clean in her kennel. A very sweet girl who just wants some loving.”

Destiny is 4 years old. She is microchipped and we are told spayed, and vaccinations have been restarted. We were contacted by local vets who asked if we could help as she had been dumped at their surgery on Saturday. They had made contact with the owner on the microchip who said he had sold her in March. The number given for the supposed new owner did not help!

This is what the vets told us:

“She seems to bark more at men and is anxious, however seems to be okay with our male vet.

When we have taken her for brief walks she does bark at people and does pull on the lead.

She seems well trained and good with her commands.

The previous owner did state she is to go to a home with no children or other pets.

Apparently, she was a working dog but cannot trust exactly what the previous owner said. “

Obviously Destiny will be assessed further but she greeted our volunteers with a very friendly attitude and was giving kisses, so not a bad start.

She will need a GSD experienced home where she is the only dog.

Destiny has been adopted.
