BEING ADVERTISED ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER RESCUE.
Handsome Roan is a super good looking boy with a lush, glossy, black and tan semi length coat. Found abandoned looking for food and water, he has come a long way since being rescued. He is now a happy boy who loves attention & lots of cuddles. He likes other dogs.Roan enjoys his walks and he walks well on his lead. He is enjoying more lead training atm to give him confidence and he is doing excellently. Roan gets excited when he sees cats so we advise no applications who have cats. Roan will make a loyal loving and faith companion, especially in an active house hold who like walking and the outdoors activities. He just wants to be loved & has a lot of love to give to a keen family. We think he will be fine with older children.
His Best Points :
Friendly and likes other dogs outside of the home. Confident and loves cuddles
Foster Report :
Roan needs to be an only dog in the home environment, because hes great, gentle, loving and playful. However, although he shared his kennel with other dogs in the shelter he in not prepared to share his foster home comforts with another dog and he finds the need to guard: food, toys, space with the other dogs here.
He shows no sign of wanting to guard against us. We can take his food or toys without any threat from him, and move him easily if he’s in our way.
He’s still a little nervous when out walking, particularly with strange men, but this is improving with the more experinces we give him. He is ok meeting other dogs out on walks.
