This lad is Hunter who we are told is a GSD cross Lurcher. He has been in his home since a pup and will be 2 in August. Still entire and vaccinations out of date but he is microchipped. We are told he is good with children of all ages but is selective with other dogs and unknown with cats. With the lurcher bit, probably not a good idea to try! Being rehomed due to health reasons meaning he is not getting the exercise and socialisation he needs.
This is what our volunteer had to say about him:
“Hunter; a very sweet dog, no signs of aggression towards me, initially some nervous interest but soon warmed to me. They are not sure of his make-up, a cross between a Shepherd and a lurcher/greyhound type dog is probable). There is another dog that lives at the property, and I have to say they seemed happy enough. The dogs are obviously included in the family given the blankets on the furniture for them, but clearly they are not getting the socialising or stimulation needed. They advised that Hunter can pull quite a bit on the lead and can react to other dogs when out. (lack of socialising).”
Can you give Hunter a new start please?
Hunter has been rehomed by his owner.
