Luna is a Herder cross Mali and is only a baby having been born in March this year. She us microchipped and vaccinated. Taken in as a young pup by her current owner as she was very unhealthy due to malnourishment on a temporary basis, her owner would love to keep her but hone of her current dogs is not happy with Luna being there.
Luna is a very rounded girl now and is good with children, other dogs and cats. She has also been ok around horses. This is what our volunteer had to say about her:
“When arriving Luna approached immediately in a friendly and confident manner. She did attempt to jump up but when told to stop, she stopped immediately. Luna is very affectionate but was also happy doing her own thing. She has been working towards the KC good citizen bronze award and so has great basic obedience skills already. Ball and food driven. Great body condition including coat, nails and teeth. Not destructive, but some normal puppy chewing on occasion.
Good, calm temperament meeting me, no mouthing or worrying behaviours observed. She loves cuddles and also playing with other dogs in the household. Did not bark however can bark if left alone with other dogs who bark. Impressed at her balanced temperament considering age and breed. Would do well with continued training. No reactivity to dogs or humans.”
In a home experienced with the breeds, Luna is going to be a cracking addition!
Luna has been rehomed by her owner.
