Introducing the beautiful Maisie, who is approximately 8 months old; she found herself in the pound after being picked up as a stray where she was living in a garden.
It is believed she is mostly Dutch Herder with a little bit of Mali mixed in. Maisie is not yet neutered as she is too young, but is microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment.
Maisie has settled in to home life with her foster family really well, and is clean in the house; she will ask to go outside to the toilet by sitting by the back door. Overnight she sleeps in her crate and she settles down and goes to sleep without a fuss.
There have been no issues with food or toys and she very gentle at taking treats, she is also very cuddly and loves a fuss.
Maisie is a busy bee and loves her walks and playing toys, she is also very clever and loves to learn new things; she can be reactive to other dogs, but more due to uncertainty in how to behave rather than being nasty.
Ideally Maisie is looking for an active home who will give her lots of exercise and stimulation and continue her training, she would have to be an only dog initially, but with a bit more work could live with another dog after careful introductions. In the current situation we are unable to cat test.
Maisie, now called Rimsey, has been adopted.
